How do you become an eaga Registered Installer?
Subcontractor Tender Process
- Where eaga administers Government funds and subcontract works, we have an obligation to abide by the EU Procurement Legislation which means eaga must source all of our installers by competitive tender.
- All Government schemes such as Warm Front in England, Warmer Homes in Northern Ireland, Home Energy Efficiency Scheme in Wales and the Warm Deal and Central Heating Programme in Scotland are subject to competitive tendering. We tender each Scheme separately and each Scheme contract period comes to an end at different times. See table below.
- When tenders are due for tendering we must advertise the opportunity in OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union). From time to time we may also advertise in trade journals. The advert basically instructs interested parties to write to eaga to express their interest in the Scheme in the first instance.
- Tender requirements will be detailed in a pre-qualification questionnaire and/ or invitation to tender. Documents will be issued at the appropriate time.
- We currently do not have any Government Schemes up for tender. However you may still express your interest in writing to the Contracts Department at eaga plc, eaga House, Archbold Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 1DB or e-mail david.parkin@eaga.com. We will require your contact details such as business name, address, telephone number, email address and contact name and the Scheme you are interest in tendering for and we will hold your details until the next tendering opportunity when we will contact you.
